expectations, set.
Twenty years in. I still get excited when a brief lands.
It's what boomeranged me at Wunderman. It's the thing that turned a 3-week freelance trial at Leo Burnett into a 3-year run on their most flagship client.
I've held the ACD title. I know how to take a project from brief to in-market, lead a team, and present to a room full of skeptical clients. That's all there. But my best days are still the ones where the work surprises me — where the idea lands better than expected and the brief gets exceeded, not just answered.
I take direction well. I execute cleaner than most. And when I see a way to elevate the work, I'll say so — clearly, without ego — and then get out of the way: "Let the best idea win.”
Hand me a brief and a quiet corner, and I'd be just as happy. Happier, maybe.
If you're looking for someone to fill a seat and check boxes — I'm probably not your call. If you want a senior creative with two decades of real-account instinct, zero ego agenda and genuine enthusiasm for making the work good, let's talk.
